Each summer since 2001 Warren County high school students, ages 13-18, interested in possible careers in Law Enforcement are invited to participate in the Warren County Junior Police Academy. The WCJPA is an intensive, week long program designed to give students insight into what all is involved in pursuing a law enforcement career.
Through the cooperative effort of state, county and local law enforcement agencies Academy cadets experience a curriculum comprised of classroom instruction, practical exercises, demonstrations and field trips. The curriculum includes the following instructional blocks:

- Tour of 911 Communications Center
- Tour of the Warren County Jail
