Riegel Paper Mill
The paper mill is in the center with the back of the Shimer store on the right. Benjamin Riegel made this town his residence in 1818, purchased the saw-mill and grist-mill already erected and conducted an extensive business. Mr. Riegel died in 1860 and his son John L. Riegel came into posession of the property.
