S.B. Fine House
S.B. Fine House
John Fine owned 5 lots prior to his death in 1839. He is buried in the Finesville cemetery. As wealthy as he was, John's brother Christopher Fine, executor, auctioned off his land and buildings to satisfy his debts in 1843. Stacy B. Fine inherited the property in 1845 and sold it in 1861. The house pre-dates 1852, since a building marked "S B Fine" appears on a village map from that year.
